"Jesus therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled." "Jesus gave way to tears." He felt the pain and sorrow that death brings. How did he feel about losing his friend Lazarus? If you turn to the scriptures in John chapters eleven verses thirty three and thirty five, the account tells us that Jesus joined Lazarus's relatives and friends as they grieved over this loss. Jesus, who perfectly reflected his Father, knows the pain of losing someone in death.
